Is there a minimum number of devices?
We consider asset value, effort and distance. Smaller projects and a few valuable servers are welcome.
Must I book the complete package?
No. You can also enquire about erasure, shredding or buyback as separate services.
Can I keep the equipment after erasure?
Yes. Erasure without a sale or recycling is available.
What happens to media that cannot be erased?
It is handled separately. Destruction follows the agreed scope and is not an unannounced substitution.
How is this different from mobile shredding?
Erasure aims to preserve suitable hardware for reuse. Shredding physically destroys the medium.
Does the whole server need to leave the site?
On-site erasure is planned at your premises. Any later collection is a separate arrangement.
Can I commission drive destruction only?
Yes. You can request destruction without selling other IT.
Is an opened drive already securely destroyed?
Opening a drive or removing individual parts does not replace an agreed destruction process.
Can our team attend the destruction?
We agree requested attendance in advance. The procedure depends on the site and working conditions.
Can I book collection instead?
Yes. Secure transport and treatment at our facility can be arranged as an alternative.
Which areas does OYAWE collect from?
Our focus is Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Other locations and international projects are assessed on request.
Are small collections possible?
Yes. Asset value, effort and distance matter. We do not set a blanket published minimum.
Does OYAWE handle small server rooms?
Yes. You can enquire about a few racks or individual systems. Effort and scope are agreed individually.
Who shuts systems down?
Responsibility is explicitly agreed beforehand. Only cleared equipment is included in the agreed removal.
Can I sell without arranging collection?
Yes. Shipment or delivery can be agreed depending on the equipment and data requirements.
Will I receive a fixed valuation in advance?
We specify the valuation basis and offer conditions. Photographs or a list do not always replace technical inspection.
Can I send any type of electronic waste?
Please enquire first. Acceptance depends on material type and the agreed scope. Identify battery-containing devices or other special materials separately.
Does OYAWE buy small quantities of RAM?
Yes. You can enquire about smaller lots too. Part numbers and photographs help us agree a quote and shipping arrangements.
Can I send RAM scrap as a parcel?
Yes, once the fraction, quantity and acceptance are agreed. We confirm packaging and the delivery address first; small quantities are welcome.
What happens with mixed memory types?
We discuss grading using your photographs. Mixed material is not automatically priced at the highest-value grade it contains.
